  Notes	LDS AFN is 2JSJ-KR. Pinkney enlisted at age 42 on September 20, 1863, along with younger brother Thomas in Co. F, 56th Regt. The 56th was part of Ransom's Brigade and saw engagements in NC and the Battles of Richmond and Petersburg. Pinkney died of dropsy June 28, 1864.
