Martin died of carcinoma of the bladder with pylitis as a contributing factor, he is buried in the Beaver Dam Baptist Church cemetery. Uncle "Mart"'s headstone is listed as A. Mart Green. His death certificate list the place of burial as Race Path Baptist Church.
