- From P. Cleveland Gardner's notes: Creaton sold his interest in his father's estate to his brother William Riley Wellmon and settled in Little Rock, Arkansas while still single. He left this state sometime after his brother Crayton. Little is known of him except that for a brief correspondencr with his family. It is said that he married there and had a daughter named Vell. He was a soldier and died at Little Rock, Arkansas during the Civil War. It is not known as yet wheather he served in the Federal or Confederate Army or whether he died of injury received in battle or other meand.
