  	NC, Cleveland, 1870, Gardner Leonidas as a child living with widowed mother Mary Jane and sister. Mary Jane's mother is next door on one side and Leonidas's Aunt Margaret is on the other side. John Gladden, his future wife's grandfather is a few doors down.
  	NC, Lincoln, 1880, Gardner Leonidas with first wife Margaret and their family in Lincoln County. Margaret died shortly after the census was taken.
